I was poking around today for some words of encouragement, ideas and just some kind of support for stepping out on your own as a creative and I found the Papernstitch blog. It's packed full of goodies on staying focused on the goal:

Some days it just feels good to know that you're not alone, and this weekend I will be sharing a few more sites I ran into... For now, I still have a day-job, well, sorta.

Journey to Entrepreneurship
So, it's been a Super long time since I've posted anything - Shame on Me!!
Originally, I had planned to use this blog as an idea page of my various artistic directions - and that still might happen...
Instead or in addition to and idea page, I'd like to begin documenting the journey of 'Artist Turned Business'.
As some of you know, I have been working for years, trying to break out of the '9 to 5' mentality, and be my own boss. Not that there's anything wrong with working for the 'Man', in general. I guess that lots of rounds of dead end jobs and poorly managed companies have just pushed me to a point in my life where the hard work that I put into other people's projects could be spent on my own. And I'd love to actually enjoy what I do - So let's go for it!
Over time, I have been collecting many helpful blogs, websites and insights that are assisting my journey to Entrepreneurship that I will share. Maybe they can help and inspire you too!
